MPP-Activities
Define the structure of a manufacturing project by creating or importing activities. Activities are the foundation for resources, parameters, orders, and solution analysis.
Purpose
Activities represent the tasks that must be scheduled. They provide the project’s baseline structure and determine what can be planned, optimized, and evaluated in later steps.
Good practices
- Use realistic durations (and confirm the unit: hours/days/shifts).
- Define clear precedence relationships to avoid impossible schedules.
- Validate imported activity data before proceeding (names, IDs, durations, dependencies).
